NaNoWriMo Day #4

Welcome to NaNoWriMo, Day 4!

Hard to believe we’re 4 days in. How’s it coming?

Hey, one more day and we’ve got our first official NaNo weekend! Whew!

Some inspiration for you:

And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise.  The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.

~Sylvia Plath

Hear that, Evil Internal Editor? You heard what Sylvia said. Bye now!

Your random challenge word of the day is: farewell

Aw, is your protagonist bidding somebody a fond farewell? Poor dear.

Write on, and pay no attention to the Evil Internal Editor behind the curtain. Even if it has taken cat form:

  1. Great cartoon with the cat.
My wife’s cat, King Sipper (a BIG Maine Coon) often jumps up in my lap when I’m at my computer. With that huge furry body in the way of my arms and hands and blocking my view of the screen — and his long bushy tail twitching in my face — it’s quite distracting.
I sometimes think he may be an editor of sorts as well, but to this point, he’s mainly a reminder it’s time to take a break.
