Here are some highlights, sent in by chapter members just for you.
First up, here’s Ginny Baird, one of our newest members, hanging out with fellow CRWA member Teri Wilson before a communal writing sprint.
The world on the street is that the event was fabulous and they got a lot of writing done.
Way to go!
Speaking of Teri Wilson, look who the CRW Stiletto Award for Mid-Length Contemporary Romance!
Another new member, Erin Kruger, had a great time getting involved with the chapter:
Anne K. Stone spent a lovely evening at The Thirsty Lion (near Union Station) with a group from her local chapter. She told everyone all about the CRWA activities, of course!
Alyssa Henderson was certainly a social butterfly:
She’d like to add:
The biggest takeaway from RWA18 was keep writing. The best marketing and best thing you can do as a writer is write a really good book. Nearly every workshop I attended the authors said this.
Another idea I heard constantly was “value your work.”
And from our dedicated, hard-working chapter president, Casey Clipper!
Last but definitely not least, here’s the live recording of the Stiletto Party:
Thank you to all who attended and supported our events (and to those who followed along from afar)!
See you all next year in New York!
