Dear CRW Members,

Wow, it’s already March! Spring is in the air, and I hope you’re in your writing groove.
There are a ton of events coming up soon! The Mentorship Program is open for sign ups today. The 2025 Stiletto Contest is open for submissions. We also have conference news, and ways you can participate.
I’m keeping this part short and sweet. I want to make sure you get all the information for everything coming up in CRW. I hope the writing juices are flowing.

We’re excited to hang out with everyone. We don’t have a set topic, it’s just a chance to chat. Add it to your calendar, and come hang out with your fellow members!

2025 Stiletto Contest

The Stiletto Contest celebrates and recognizes excellence in the contemporary romance genre for published and unpublished novels. 

Contemporary Romance Writers focuses on the contemporary romance genre, and the Stiletto Contest upholds the organization’s goal of bringing awareness to the best work by authors and writers in contemporary romance.

• Submissions open: March 1, 2025
• Submissions close: March 31, 2025
• Winners announced: July 26, 2025 at our Virtual Conference

2025 Spring Mentorship Program

The CRW Mentor Program pairs experienced contemporary romance authors (mentors) with emerging writers (mentees) to foster professional development, improve writing craft, and build meaningful connections within the writing community. This program is designed to provide tailored guidance, promote creative growth, and enhance the mentee’s journey toward publication.

Sign ups will be open from March 1st to March 14th.

2025 CRW Virtual Conference

Registrations are now open for the 2025 Virtual Conference! We are 145 days away! The conference will take place on July 26th and 27th. There will be a Masterclass on Friday, July 25th.

CRW members get the main conference for free! If you’d like to attend the masterclass, that is a separate fee, and you’ll need to sign up for that.

So, if you only want to attend the main conference, you don’t need to do anything. We’ll send out the information on how to access the conference when the date is closer. You only need to register if you want to attend the Masterclass.

Want to be a part of the conference?
If you’d like to be a speaker, submit your speaker proposal below.
During each session, we also have a door prize. If you’d like to donate a door prize, you can do that below as well.
