Got writing goals / plans for 2011? Need some inspiration?

Yes? Perfect. There just happens to be an app for that.

The 365 Topics Calendar App will provide you with a prompt for each day of the year. (You can also click the “random” button.)

So when you’re stuck at that keyboard and struggling to stick to your writing resolutions, select a prompt and get to work.

There’s no time like the present. Let’s open the app get started with an exercise:

Write a scene in which your heroine is having an argument with her love interest (or boss, or annoying family member. . .) and very strongly states an opinion.

Then she thinks, “I wish that were written on a billboard for the world to see.”

What would that opinion be? Why does she feel so strongly about it?
